Where the Money Goes
[ send me this paper ]
A 21 page paper discussing the spending habits of two female students at Northern Kentucky University. Tuition and books are only the beginning, as Ashley’s and Nicole’s spending records reveal. Both girls live on campus in the least expensive dorm room available, and each have the least expensive meal plan that the school will allow them to have. Neither believes herself to be irresponsible with her money, but Ashley spends far more over the course of two semesters than does Nicole. Amounts spent would not be so noteworthy if Ashley was eating better or was able to do more things than Nicole, but the fact is that Nicole is the better off of the two. The paper follows each through a typical day and provides tables revealing how much each spends each month. Ashley’s affinity for fast food and vending machine items costs more than the total of another semester’s tuition and books combined. Includes 2 tables. Bibliography lists 8 sources.
