Communication
[ send me this paper ]
This 5 page report discusses the 1993 movie

The Nature v. Nurture Controversy in Sociology
[ send me this paper ]
This 5 page
report discusses the ongoing debate regarding the question of
what is the greatest factor in the development of human
intelligence, sociability, interpersonal skills, and personality.
Is it based on the “nature” with which a child is physically
endowed or is it a matter of how the child is “nurtured”? Many of
those most thoroughly grounded in medical or physical science
traditions can point to a number of ways in which the genetic
code one is born with is the determining factor of how well or
how thoroughly one’s intelligence develops. An equal number can
point to the environmental and social realities as being the
primary determining factor. This report does not provide an
answer to the question, only a statement of the controversy.
Bibliography lists 3 sources.
