Can The Effects Of Lifestyle Stresses And Its Link To GI Cancer Be Reversed?
[ send me this paper ]
4 pages in length. The importance of the phenomenon of interest is the manner by which it establishes a path upon which a truer, more accurate appraisal can be acquired from the research process. The extent to which the phenomenon of interest positively impacts healthcare is both grand and far-reaching; that the very essence of phenomenography is to uncover greater clarity speaks to the advantageous components it inherently possesses where healthcare is concerned. Canadian Healthcare: Factors Adding Up to Failure and Attempts at Resolution
[ send me this paper ]
A 10 page discussion of the many challenges facing the Canadian health care system, challenges which are translating into a deleterious impact to patient welfare. Contends that although the system is characterized by a rapidly changing technology and more complex nursing needs little is being accomplished toward addressing those needs. Indeed, the present climate of fiscal restraint which exists across Canada has resulted in an increased use of unregulated health care workers in a variety of health care settings. These unregulated workers have been employed as cost saving measures but are perceived by many as having contributed to degraded health care environment. Suggests that a better approach might be to encompass these workers under the oversight of the professionals who have served as the backbone of Canada's health care system for generations. Cardiovascular Disease
[ send me this paper ]
A 21 page paper discussing the causes of cardiovascular disease
and some of the preventive measures that individuals can take for themselves. Not all risk
factors - age, sex, heredity - can be prevented, but many others are under individuals' control.
The bottom line in prevention of cardiovascular disease is to live by the guidelines of common
sense. The human body was not made to survive on junk food, but it thrives with many fruits,
vegetables and fiber. Some studies have found that increased fiber, while not directly affecting
the cardiovascular system, can nonetheless have a positive effect by tying up some of the
cholesterol that otherwise would be floating free in the bloodstream, ready to attach itself to
arterial walls. The old adage of "everything in moderation" is particularly applicable to
prevention and management of cardiovascular disease. Bibliography lists 8 sources.
