INR Stability with the Involvement of a Nurse Educator
[ send me this paper ]
This 5
page report discusses the international normalized ratio or INR
and how a nurse educator’s efforts can assure that INR stability
is maintained on a more consistent basis. There are a number of
indications for oral anticoagulation therapy, most having to do
with the use of mechanical devices to maintain a patient’s
cardiac functioning. Therefore, it is essential that it be
maintained on a consistent basis and without wide variances in
overall INR. Because the INR concept is one that is directly
related to how caregivers make determinations of the next option
in a patient’s care, the efficacy of management by a nurse
educator cannot truly be questioned. Bibliography lists 5
sources.

Insulin and Diabetes

An 8 page paper discussing the chemical action of insulin, which has been misunderstood for decades. As researchers made discoveries that led them to believe they had discovered answers, frequently it was revealed that all that had been "discovered" was more questions. Again, what has been discovered is not an answer, but represents yet another question. Bibliography lists 8 sources. Includes an abstract.

Integrated Clinical Pathways in Nursing
[ send me this paper ]
This 10 page report
discusses what an “integrated clinical pathway” is and the
purposes associated with it Simply enough, a clinical pathway is
precisely what the name suggests . . . a path to follow. It
serves as a multi-disciplinary guideline in relationship to the
treatment, prognosis, and outcomes a nursing team might expect to
see regarding a particular patient’s care. The concept may be
applied in a wide variety of settings for numerous treatments and
medical protocols. In general, a well-designed integrated
clinical pathways clearly allows for the care team and the
patient to be, literally, all on the same page. Bibliography
