Grierson (1997 ) "Metaphysical poetry, in the full sense of the term, is a poetry which has been inspired by a philosophical conception of the universe and the rôle assigned to the human spirit in the grea t drama of existence. Doesn't that definition sound elegant? When was the last time that you acknowledged your role in the "great drama of existence?" The reason that I mention this is that the study of "metaphysics," is becoming more popular each year.
