Wall Of Separation
[ send me this paper ]
10 pages in length. Development of the human race has been responsible for myriad controversies throughout such an immense and ongoing process of defining mankind. One of the most important, if not necessary issues that has emerged from this ever-progressing metamorphosis is that of the separation between church and state. The wall of separation was deemed essential in order to maintain an unbiased approach to government and religion; with historically influential figures like political theorist Niccolo Machiavelli at the helm of this movement, the wall of separation became an instrumental component in dividing two unique entities, but at the same time provoked the ire of the religious community. [ send me this paper ]
A 9 page research paper on the effects of religious beliefs on the human mind. The writer posits that religious dogma leads to war, based on the conception of being 'chosen.' What is a Committed Relationship?
[ send me this paper ]
This is a 15 page paper discussing the concept “committed relationship”. Definitions of a “committed relationship” differ according to historical, religious, social or modern-day references. Basically, according to the New Webster’s Dictionary “committed” is defined as “to give in keeping, entrust” or “to bind, pledge” and “relationship” or “the state of being related” is “the mutual exchange between two people or groups who have dealings with one another” (New Webster, 197, 841). In other words, a “committed relationship” between two individuals is more of a binding and trusting mutual exchange. The pure definition however may be in fact be different than how many individuals may define whether or not they are in a “committed relationship” with another individual as some may deem this to include love, sex, equality, and/or marriage along with several other aspects particularly significant to individuals. A successful committed relationship however does not seem dependent on sexual orientation, religion or legal commitments but rather it is a long-term process between couples which involves love, respect, constant readjustment of individual and partner’s needs, acceptance, and realization of the reality of a shared modern day life – a vast difference from the initial perceptions of romance and sexual intensity originally sought in a relationship.
