Republican, Democrat,, Libertarian, and Gun Control
[ send me this paper ]
This 8 page
report discusses gun control as a major policy issue and how the
Republicans and the Democrats view the entire topic. It also
looks at what the official “party line” is regarding the issue. A
third party, the Libertarians, are also examined in light of
their attitude regarding gun control. Not surprisingly, the
Republicans and the Democrats have their “official” and
collectively agreed upon justification for their demand for gun
control or their determination to control gun control advocates.
Even the parties whose candidates are not taken seriously by
either mainstream voters or mainstream government have party
“planks” as related to gun control. Bibliography lists 8
sources.
